SUN ARTS is the Arts And Culture division of Sustainable United Neighborhoods, Inc., a Brooklyn-based 501(c)(3), which maintains a community hub and public art gallery at The Bushwick Generator, curated by our in-house team of multidisciplinary artists: Carlos Torres Machado, Keli Lucas and Justin Muñoz.
We are committed to serving the local arts ecosystem through grants, professional development, cultural heritage programming, and arts education. Artists’ work is produced at our in-house art studio space where we promote collaboration with the community. Our art education programming includes the latest digital technologies to expand on an artist’s creative possibilities.
SUN ARTS strives to foster a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace where our creative professionals, whatever their gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, sexual orientation or identity, education, have the ability to feel valued and respected. We respect and value diverse life experiences and heritages, and work to ensure that all voices are heard.
We are committed to modeling diversity and inclusion for the arts community in Brooklyn.
